  3. Yeah, knock-knock jokes were very, very big in our house for a while (said wearily while banging head into wall). She is a cutie though. That helps.

  5. i love when kids learn knock-knock jokes. they’re so funny, because they make absolutely no sense whatsoever. 😛

  6. I remember these types of jokes and then I remember the first time littlesis came out with a for real funny joke I laughed so hard and it brought back the memories of the first time I told a real joke that made my own mother laugh outloud – your post did this all over again…. thanks!

  7. LMBO – Those are my favorite kinds of jokes. They make zero sense to us but they sure do make the kiddies giggle.

  9. I’m glad to see that my son has some competition in the knock knock joke department. I never know if I should laugh, cry, or tell him to go watch some more tv. 😉

  10. My children have been making up jokes for a long time, and now that they are nine and twelve, their jokes are actually getting witty, as apposed to funny because I think you are cute:-)

  11. At that age, Willa’s favorite one was:W: Knock knock.Me: Who’s there?W: BooMe: Boo who?W: You don’t have to cry about it!We all laughed so much that she used that punchline for every knock knock joke whether it applied or not. It was very funny indeed.

Heh.My little brother and I (we were only 16 months apart) would sit and tell each other the same knock knock joke over and over for half an hour, and laugh every time.Knock knock.Who’s there?Alligator.Alligator who?Alligator gonna eat you!!!Yeah. Easily amused. But if the hysterical laughter of two toddlers amusing themselves nicely together isn’t contagious to you, you don’t have a soul.
